Role Description:

Key Responsibilities:

Develop systems using Java 8, Spring Boot and Angular 2+. Real-world use of Test Driven Development and Behaviour Driven Development.

Candidates should have a good knowledge of building distributed applications using cloud-native technologies and expertise in designing applications to run in Containers.

Familiarity with IntelliJ, Docker, Jenkins, Maven, Cucumber is required.
Team Structure:

Teams cover the key areas of Risk, Front Office, Back Office, Regulation with Cross Service teams supporting.

These teams are further broken down into business-focused teams with a spread of skills that are responsible for a portion of the IT Estate
Additional Skills:

Ideally we are looking for candidates who can bring real-world experience of these particular technologies into existing teams and help in the strategic direction SanTech Engineering for GCB.

The candidates should have excellent communication skills.

While Financial Markets product knowledge and experience is not a prerequisite, close working with business analysts and business users is required, as well as interaction with other teams across geographies.
